An Hour’s Walk is 100% pure Tualang honey harvested from a collection of trees more than an hour deep into the Malaysian rainforest — one of the farthest areas our teams have ventured, where few humans have ever set foot.

These towering rainforest trees are surrounded by wild blooms, herbs, fruits, saps, and forest botanicals. Fed by the rainy season and shaped by the canopy around it, this honey is rich, beautiful, and deeply tied to place.

The Story of Legendary Tualang Honey

Tualang honey has long been treasured in Malaysia for its extraordinary harvest setting. Apis dorsata, the Giant Asian Honey Bee, builds open-branch hives high in towering rainforest trees, where access requires skilled honey hunters, careful timing, and deep respect for the forest.

An Hour’s Walk comes from one of the most remote harvest areas in our collection, more than an hour by foot into the rainforest. The distance, terrain, and canopy setting make this honey a rare expression of wild Tualang origin.

Our multifloral Tualang honey is harvested fresh in Peninsular Malaysia’s ancient rainforest, where bees forage among native nectars, saps, herbs, fruits, and high-canopy blooms. These forest sources help shape the honey’s floral aroma, tropical fruit notes, creamy sweetness, and slow, memorable finish.

As a raw, unfiltered honey, An Hour’s Walk may contain naturally occurring enzymes, pollen traces, organic acids, and plant-derived compounds that contribute to its color, aroma, texture, and finish.

The result is a rare, origin-led honey with a journey built into the name — remote, expressive, and deeply tied to the Malaysian rainforest.

Later harvests tend to be more complex and intense, while earlier harvests are generally more subtle and delicate.

Best honey I ever tasted hands down. The quality is evident with the first taste. Tried three different flavors and love them all. Very unique and different tastes. Dont't just try one. Honey is now a daily part of my routine.
