The Story of Legendary Tualang (Gelam) Honey
In ancient times, the Malay regarded Tualang-Gelam Honey also as sacred, a food from God, the honey extracted from the special Gelam Forest was said to contain medicinal and spiritual properties. Even more rare than its high tree sibling, this delicacy was ingested to empower, to imbue courage, vitality and to cure and of course, ward off illness!
Our multifloral honey is harvested fresh in Peninsular Malaysia’s 130 million year old rainforest, direct from the tightly nestled Gelam trees deep in the jungle.
Among the earth's earliest superfood is foraged by the Apis Dorsata, who feed on native nectars and saps to produce this luxurious honey with remarkable health properties.
