The Story of Kelulut (Stingless Bee) Honey of the Peninsular Malaysian Rainforest
Our multifloral wild Trigona Bee honey is harvested fresh from pods located near the Gelam trees of Peninsular Malaysia’s 130-million-year-old rainforest. These stingless bees are the wizards of the forest, building networks of honeypots to create and store this functional food, replete with bioactivity. They feed on over 30 different types of nectars and saps, from an abundant selection of herbs, blossoms and fruits throughout the year. Their tiny bodies provide access to greater number of smaller flowers, allowing these magicians to produce this viscous concoction, rich and abundant in medicinal properties.
