Rich in botanical elements
Beyond its flavor, Tualang honey carries a complex fingerprint of the rainforest—naturally occurring plant compounds that the hive uses to preserve itself. That same complexity is what makes each jar feel alive: layered, shifting, and deeply aromatic.
Raw Composition & Botanical Complexity
Tualang honey is shaped by the living rainforest around it — high-canopy blooms, saps, pollen traces, organic acids, naturally occurring enzymes, and plant-derived compounds gathered by wild Apis dorsata bees.
Rather than presenting Tualang as a supplement or remedy, we celebrate these elements for what they bring to the honey itself: deeper color, resinous florals, layered aroma, gentle acidity, and a long, memorable finish. It is a rare expression of wild forest honey, rooted in taste, origin, and tradition.
Why so many flavors?
A symphony of aroma and taste!
Wild rainforest honey isn’t uniform—and that’s the point. As blooms come and go, the hive’s “recipe” changes in real time. Each batch is a snapshot of a place and moment in the forest. Much like a symphony, the notes of each sap, herb, fruit and flower, work together to create delightful melodies. If you enjoy honeys with dimension (not just sweetness), Tualang is a true tasting honey.
Tropical Honeys are often leaner
A note on texture: rainforest honeys are often more fluid than honey from drier climates. Honey naturally absorbs ambient moisture, and rainforest humidity is high—so a beautiful pour is part of the character. The payoff is aroma: lighter viscosity can carry volatile floral notes more vividly.
As little processing as possible
Once honey arrives from the forest, we keep handling minimal: strain to remove wax, gently reduce excess moisture at low temperature for stability, and then straight to your bottle. The goal is to keep the honey close to how it exists in the hive—aromatic, expressive, and true to its source.
